New stuffs

Here are the pics of the projects I promised :) enjoy!!

Lucky You Treat Box
Stamp Set: Love You Much, Tiny Talk
Paper: Wild Wasabi Cardstock (ww - 5.5" x 3"), Certainly Celery Cardstock
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
Accessories: 5" Certainly Celery Grosgrain Ribbon, Certainly Celery Button, 3-heart Punch

Score WW cardstock at 1.25", 2.5", 3 3/4", and 5".  Turn paper and score at 1 1/2". Cutting on the short side of the scores, cut up the the score lines on the three scores, cutting of the smallest score (confusing I know but it's just like a 2,4,6 box except smaller).  Fold up and embellish, it's that easy.  I used the hearts and 3 heart punch to make the Shamrock.

Here is a pic of my sisters wedding favors, her colors are Pink, Black and White.  She's going with an elegant candy shop theme, so I came up with these. Only 40 more to make.  So far we have 120 done :) Wish us luck in finishing :)

YAY!!

This week has been really hectic for me up at work and on the homefront.  I have been helping my sister prepare for her June wedding which has been really fun and at the same time REALLY making me question whether I need to be a wedding planner.  We'll see.  We went to hobby lobby last night to get some centerpiece ideas and we came out with a bunch of stuff!! She is going to have candy in candy jars for her centerpieces :) It's going to be SO cute!!!  We also worked on her favors which I will post a pic of later tonight.  I have been a craftin machine as I also made some St. Patty's day goodies for my co-workers using an idea I saw at regionals (well the box part anyway).  I will also post a pic of that tonight.  All in all it has been a great and productive week.  I FINALLY got my Occasions Mini pre-order the other day and I can't WAIT to play with all my new goodies!!!!!!!  Check back for pics of all the new projects!!

:( I'm sick

I am REALLY not feeling well and as much as I would like to go down to my craft room and stamp while I have the day off, I just don't feel like it :(  I have the monthly blues :(  with the cysts that I have it seems as if things are getting worse month by month- I will have to schedule an appointment with the doctor really soon to figure out what the deal is.  Well, Marc and I gave Sushi a home hair cut.  And while he is MUCH happier without all the hair knaps, he looks like he got in a fight with the razor!!!  I was really careful not to knick him (in fact I was almost in tears at one point I was so worried I was gonna cut him) but he still looks like heck, oh well, it'll grow out.  I told Marc that if we had company that we would have to hide him, he just looks SO ridiculous!!!

Got back from regionals on Saturday and had a REALLY fun time.  I met up with some of the folks from splitcoaststampers.com  and learned quite a few new tricks!!!  I will post some pics once my computer decides it wants to download them.

I was also able to get some more of the white 'store n style' from Michaels last week and just need to get a desk top and my sewing closet will be ready to go.  I would like to paint in there first though.  So once it gets a bit warmer out I am going to be working on that project.  I am still in the market for a new sewing/embroidery machine.  I have my eye on a couple but I need to pay off a few other bills first.  Well, off to make some dinner!!!!

YAY!!

Hello All! Good news Sushi is doing good and is DIRE need of a full haircut. With his surgery they had to shave quite a bit of him and now, well he looks a bit funny.  So I will be giving him a kitty cut soon.  I have been very busy getting ready for the SU! regionals that are this weekend.  I have been a card makin' fool!!  I have made 120 cards so far!! My goal is 150.  Almost there.  I will show ya some pics once I take 'em.  I also have been busy re-organizing my craft room.  There is still a bunch I would like to do but this will have to do for now.

Here is my punch storage from IKEA, I will be adding another short bar inbetween the 2 long bars VERY soon, as I am TOTALLY running out of room.  My SU! ribbon is stored in SU! ribbon holders that I rigged to hang from the bars.  I LOVE it that they are no longer on my desktop.

Here is a view from well, the back of the room.  The desk is the white store in style and my dad  helped me make the rest.  My stamps are stored in the white pantry.
Here's the other side of the room where you can see my magnet board etc.
This is my bookshelf for all my SU! background stamps, hardware, cardstock, etc.  I also moved my printer over here and I LOVe how much deskspace I gained!
My UBER organized closet.  After dealing with an actual craft avalanche, I said enough was enough.  So I addded a shelf and LOVE my new closet!!
